Hickam AFB, Hawaii

We returned to Hickam AFB, Hawaii today in the worst weather I have seen in Hawaii. It was raining and blowing, and nearly zero visibility at Honolulu International Airport. I grabbed a taxi for home with no problem in spite of the rain and flooding. Traffic going into Honolulu was terrible, but we were swimming upstream. The travel time was three hours from Naha Airport on Okinawa to Narita, in Tokyo, and six hours from Tokyo to Honolulu. A great trip with lots of work being accomplished, lots of fun, and way too much food. I enjoyed meeting the chapel teams at Yokota, Misawa and Kadena.
