I can finally post on this public forum our good news. On 6 March 2009, I will be retiring from the Air Force, and Gail, Aaron, Harry and I will be moving to Tampa, Florida "The Other Beach" to assume the pastorate at Bayshore Presbyterian Church. I have been in discussion with them since the fall of last year, and with the Presbytery's approval stood for the vote on Sunday, 8 Feb 2009. The congregation was gracious enough to offer me a calling, and so I begin my new, civilian duties on Palm Sunday. I was thinking of riding in on a donkey, but thought that to be presumptuous if not blasphemous! Don't want my new congregation to think they have an ass for a pastor. Ha!
